Instructors will be available after the workshop (2:30-3:30 pm EDT) to discuss your challenges in Making Agile Happen.

Description:  If you are reading this, you know that Agile is cool. But perhaps, everyone in your organization does not. Are you facing challenges in making Agile happen? Are there resistors that are standing in your way? Bring your frustrations!

This is an interactive overview of Fearless Change strategies and how they can be used to help you make Agile happen in your organization.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Identify some challenges you face in convincing people to make Agile happen
  • Identify some well-defined solutions to some of your challenges
    (and discover how you can find more solutions later)

You will leave this workshop with some specific strategies you can use right away!

Scrum Rio 2019

Vista do Morro Dona MartaJoe will attend the Scrum Rio where he will give a keynote and more. He is excited to visit Rio once again. It has been a long time since he has been back to Rio. He is looking forward to a good trip and it is always good to visit with Ademar Aguiar and others.

Joe is lookling forward to presentaing a workshop with Ademar about Scrum Patterns and more. The book will be released soon. This promised to be an exciting adventure. After Scrum Rio Ademar and I will visit Sampa (Sao Paulo) for a few days. Rio is beautiful.

Scrum PLoP 2019

Joe will attend the ScrumPLoP conference. He is excited to visit with old and new friends at Quinta da Pacheca, Portugal. He is looking forward to a good trip and it is always good to visit with Ademar Aguiar and others in Porto Portugal.

We are putting the final touches on our the Scrum Patterns book that will be released soon and also discussing the future of ScrumPLoP. This should be a fun and interesting trip. The sites in Douro Valley and Porto are beautiful.

SATURN 2019

Joe will attend the SATURN conference in Pittsburgh. I'm looking forward to presenting "IDEALS and Domain Driven Design (DDD) for designing modern service-based systems" with Paulo Merson.

I will also be presenting a short tutorial on "Being Agile about Architecture". I look forward to being at SATURN and seeing many interesting presentations and the many intriguing discussions that happen at this conference.
